What began as a place for both local and international entertainmant, a small family-owned lodge has evolved into one of the region's premier luxury destinations.

Our founders envisioned a place where guests could experience the beauty of nature without compromising on comfort and luxury. Over time, we continue to uphold this vision while incorporating modern amenities and sustainable practices.

Our Journey

Mwesigwa Resort Eco Lodges began as a unique facility dedicated to entertainment, especially through our sponsorship of local and international motor rallies. Just 1km from our cottages, rallies continue twice a year and remain an important part of our heritage.

From the beginning, our vision has been about more than entertainment. We are deeply committed to the preservation of the environment and promoting a peaceful coexistence with nature. Rooted in culture, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, and defined by luxury, our resort creates experiences that connect people with nature while harnessing our traditions.

Today, seated on over 20 acres of land (within a 1 km radius), we continue to serve not only as a place of relaxation but also as a vital part of the community. By sourcing goods and services locally, every guest directly supports families and businesses in the surrounding area.
